ANNOUNCEMENTS & EVENTS
HEALTH NUGGET
June is MEN’S Health Month
There are no proven natural treatments that cure prostate cancer. However, the Mayo Clinic suggests adopting a heart-healthy, Mediterranean-style diet. Emphasize plant-based foods, such as cooked tomatoes (rich in lycopene) and cruciferous vegetables like broccoli. Limit red meat, saturated fats, and processed foods. Maintain a healthy weight and exercise regularly to promote overall prostate health. For specific symptoms, complementary practices like acupuncture may help manage pain. – mayoclinic.org

PRAYER REQUESTS
Last week we were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Bro. Bartley, faithful worker for God. Let us please keep Yvonne and the rest of the family lifted in prayer.
As always, thank you for continuing to keep all those on all our Prayer Lists, all our long term home bound members, those saddened by loss, all those experiencing different challenges, and also the requests placed here in the Prayer Box, let us keep them all covered in Prayer.
Church, we may not have medical expertise, but God has promised that the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much !!
